How to Match an ESC to an FPV Motor

An ESC match needs both adequate continuous-current rating and explicit support for the selected battery cell count.

Motor / KV → Battery S → ESC current / S → Prop diameter / pitch / blades → Battery

Which ESC current matters?

StartX compares the motor variant’s confirmed ESC requirement with the ESC continuous-current rating. A peak rating is not substituted for missing continuous-current data.

What about 6S?

For a 6S selection, the ESC must explicitly list 6S support. An ESC with sufficient amperage but unknown or incompatible voltage support is not returned.
